Susanne Krieg is a journalist. After she had received an MA in English, History and Social Anthropology at the University of Hamburg, she was trained at the Henri Nannen School of Journalism. For more than ten years she worked as an editor and reporter at GEO Magazine (Gruner + Jahr). She has received several journalism awards, e.g. the prestigious Hansel Mieth Prize. In addition to her journalistic activities, she gives seminars and workshops on journalism, social media and web publishing. Since 2017 she has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
