Team

The [IMAGE MATTERS] team comprises Prof. Dr. Karen Fromm, the two PhD students, Sophia Greiff and Anna Stemmler, and Malte Radtki. All four are currently involved in teaching and/or research at Hanover’s University of Applied Sciences and Arts in the study programme ‚Photojournalism and Documentary Photography’ of Faculty III – Media, Information and Design. The focus of their work is the analysis and reflection of the effects of visual representations in the interplay of motifs, aesthetics, framing and context.

For the symposium 2017 they have received support from Helena Manhartsberger, and for the exhibition from Vasil Dinev, who are students of ‚Photojournalism and Documentary Photography’.
