Hans-Peter Fischer is not a photographer, nor has he ever reported from a crisis zone. However, as a radio announcer, he was interested in the question of an appropriate media portrayal of conflicts. After all, everyday news items and reports also determine the images that the audience forms about events. Fischer has worked as a reporter and editor for various public radio broadcasters as well as Swedish radio. Today he is a lecturer in the fundamentals of journalism in the Journalism programme at Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
