The Image Matters team comprises Prof. Dr. Karen Fromm and two graduate assistants, Sophia Greiff and Anna Stemmler. All three currently work in teaching and research at Hanover’s University of Applied Sciences and Arts in the study programme Photojournalism and Documentary Photography of Faculty III – Media, Information and Design. The focus of their work is the analysis and reflection of the effects of photographic representations in the interplay of aesthetics, framing and context.
They have received support from Helena Manhartsberger and Vasil Dinev, who are students of Photojournalism and Documentary Photography.
